Girls Trip Society was built as a scalable, destination-inspired event brand designed to elevate how women entrepreneurs connect—moving beyond traditional networking into immersive, high-end experiences. Led by The Lavish Brand Collective, the initiative translated the signature Girls Trip Society energy into curated environments and intentional guest experiences that fostered real connection and measurable ROI. Through strategic event design, sponsor and vendor partnerships, and immersive brand activations, the team successfully launched two sold-out events with 400+ attendees while securing $17.5K in sponsorship revenue and over $26K in in-kind value. Destination-themed spaces, celebrity integration, and interactive activations transformed Dallas into a global getaway, blending storytelling, business, and celebration. The result positioned Girls Trip Society not just as an event series, but as a movement with a strong foundation for national expansion and long-term growth. TK's Comedy Club

TK’s Comedy partnered with HerStory Agency to build the operational infrastructure needed to support rapid growth in private and corporate events while reducing risk and preparing the venue for scale. The engagement focused on designing end-to-end systems—including booking workflows, SOPs, contracts, and team training—that standardized execution and protected the business legally. Branded guest experience frameworks, vendor engagement policies, and plug-and-play event concepts elevated both internal programming and B2B client offerings. As a result, events were delivered more consistently, staff performance improved, manual workload decreased, and vendor and client relationships strengthened. The new systems enabled TK’s Comedy to successfully produce profitable corporate events for brands like RingCentral, McCarthy, and Smith Consulting, reinforcing long-term growth and operational excellence.

Urban Hydration Fresh Fest 2025

Urban Hydration partnered with DWJ Co and HerStory Agency to launch Fresh Fest, a large-scale, family-focused community festival designed to elevate brand visibility and deepen connections around clean beauty and wellness. Subcontracted by DWJ Co, HerStory Agency led event design, guest experience, vendor strategy, and activation concepts to create a premium experience that stood apart from traditional local festivals. The event featured immersive play zones, kids’ haircare stations, branded vendor booths, clear guest flow, and a cohesive journey culminating in a branded theater screening. Strategic vendor engagement, cost-saving recommendations, and centralized production management ensured both high-impact aesthetics and operational efficiency. STS 1Stop partnered with DWJ Co and HerStory Agency to launch Gamechangers EX, a multi-city conference designed to deliver education, strategy, and high-impact networking across Dallas and Atlanta. Subcontracted by DWJ Co, HerStory Agency led event design, guest experience, operations, and sponsor strategy to ensure a consistent, elevated experience across both markets. A tech-forward, puzzle-inspired theme came to life through branded Solution Stations, Power Play Pods, custom badges, and interactive sponsor activations that differentiated the conference from traditional tax events. The Challenge

The client had experienced financial losses on past events and recently had to cancel one due to low attendance and lack of tools or capacity to execute at the level their community deserved. Mother’s Day events often missed the mark for Black moms—offering tradition but not intention. The goal: create a joyful, elevated space where Black mothers felt seen, celebrated, and restored.
 

HerStory Approach

HerStory Agency was hired to create structure, elevate the guest experience, and ensure the event was profitable, well-managed, and aligned with the brand’s community-first mission. Despite joining in the late stage of planning, TLBC met all KPIs and exceeded expectations by delivering a polished, intentional event that restored trust and excitement within the community.

The Challenge

In past years, the client hosted the MIR Summit in a conference + dinner format. For 2025, the vision expanded: reimagine the event as a black-tie Gala that elevated the guest experience while staying true to its tax and business education roots.

The challenge:

  • Transform the format from dinner program to full gala production.

  • Balance education, entertainment, and networking in one evening.

  • Manage 400+ guests, VIP legacy tables, and sponsor activations.

  • Ensure the execution matched the elevated positioning of the new Gala brand.

The Approach

DWJ & Co. led strategy and overall production, with HerStory Agency sub-contracted to provide event operations, guest relations, and design/vendor management.

Our contributions included:

  • Operations Planning – Built and executed the run-of-show, vendor timelines, and load-in/load-out schedules. Coordinated catering logistics, program transitions, and speaker readiness to ensure smooth flow from red carpet arrivals to the closing segment.
     

  • Guest Relations – Directed on-site guest services including check-in, wristband distribution, valet coordination, and VIP/legacy table seating. Oversaw ushers, staff, and volunteers to create a seamless experience for all 400+ attendees.
     

  • Venue & Experience Management – Coordinated with Frisco Hall to secure the Mozart Room, LED screen, valet, and upstairs suites for talent and VIPs. Designed the gala flow with legacy tables, elevated stage design, and branded touchpoints.
     

  • Design & Collateral Oversight – Managed production with Satin Pavement, Dream Design Co., and XOXO for branded signage, chair covers, floral installations, and legacy table identifiers.
     

  • Food & Beverage Operations – Confirmed service model: plated meals for legacy tables, buffet for general admission, and upgraded table settings (chargers, linens, etc.).
     

  • Sponsor & Vendor Integration – Oversaw setup for branded sponsor activations, coordinated media coverage, and ensured sponsor visibility aligned with DWJ’s framework.

The client wanted to curate a simple, chill, low-pressure event for moms—a space that felt easy, intimate, and restorative. While the vision was intentionally relaxed, the planning still required structure, production support, and clear guest flow to ensure the experience felt elevated rather than casual or unorganized.


An unexpected challenge arose when the original venue sponsor fell through, requiring rapid adjustments and creative problem-solving to maintain the quality of the event without disrupting the guest experience.

HerStory Agency stepped in to bring clarity, structure, and intentionality to a laid-back concept. The goal was to keep the “chill night in” vibe while still delivering a polished, cohesive experience that aligned with the brand.
